Powder Coating
Powder coating is a highly durable finish which used by OEM manufacturers. This process is used in a wide range of parts and materials where a protective coating is required to protect the product from weathering/wear and tear. Majority of scuffed wheels can make a quick recovery using this process.
Diamond Cutting
Diamond cut finish is become more common from factory standard on a wide range of vehicles. This is where you achieve a two tone finish, one being variety of inner spoke colour options and the face is cut using a diamond tip giving a highly polished finish using a state of the art lathe.
Ceramic Ball Bearing Polish
One of the most advanced polishing methods available today, we use ceramic ball bearing polish techniques to ensure that our wheels are sparkling brighter, for longer.
Split Rims
Split rim wheels are different from one piece wheels. These are multi piece wheels that generally in 2 or 3 parts and bolted together, usually with a polished or diamond cut rim.
Custom Finishes
At Scuffed there are no limits when it comes to customising your alloy wheels, many colour options are available. This can be achieved in different ways or combined if you are feeling frisky using a coloured wet spray or tinted lacquer.
Other options include pin striped rim, an example being the honda type r (FK2 & FK8 wheel).
Welding
We can fix your crack! This again becoming more common with larger wheels on low profile tyres. Where the manufacturer would try and sell you a replacement wheel, we can safely repair the crack by simply welding it (depending on the size) This process would be carried out before the wheel is refurbished so you get a better finish.
Wheel Straightening
If you are experiencing shaking or vibration from your steering wheel it is more than likely a buckled wheel. Depending on the extent of the damage around 90% of the wheels can safely be repaired using our buckle repair machine. Why spend hundreds of pounds replacing wheels when they can easily be repaired.
